I’m Merel (~Dutch, noun, meaning: Blackbird). Teacher, professional tree-hugger and in dire need of adventures. One could argue that working as a high school teacher is an adventure of it’s own (and they would be absolutely right), but the adventures that I like to experience from time to time also include putting on a backpack and hiking across Spain. Or booking a very random plane ticket to New Zealand. Or deciding that at twenty-three I can totally start playing a new (and expensive) sport that I kind of really suck at, and that it’s okay to suck at it. About 70% of this blog is me taking you along on these adventures, and the other 30% is… questionable. But probably enjoyable. Who knows.
